Helen Lee was a warrior through and through. Her hugs were magic, her smile infectious, her laughter healing, and her loyalty fierce. In late 2021 she lost her battle with Cervical Cancer. Many in the West Seattle running community were touched by her warm spirit and generosity. We miss her and as we think back on memories together the inaugural Float Dodger 5k is one of the highlights as well as the many Tuesday Nights she lit up the track with her smile and encouragement of others. In the spirit of the 2022 Float Dodger 5k, we want to take the opportunity to honor her and give you the opportunity to donate to the National Cervical Cancer Coalition’s Southwest Washington Chapter in her name.
